1.3 By entering the premises and booking a service, the client confirms that they have read these rules and agree to them.
1.4 The current version of these rules is available on the premises and on the salon’s website.
1.5 Opening hours are stated on the website and on the entrance door of the premises. Monday to Friday 09:00-19:00, Saturday 10:00-16:00, Sunday closed.
2. Booking an Appointment
2.1 A booking can be made by telephone, via WhatsApp, by e-mail, or through the form on the website.
2.2 A booking becomes binding at the moment it is confirmed by the salon.
2.3 A booking may be cancelled or rescheduled no later than 24 hours before the agreed appointment.
2.4 In the event of cancellation within a shorter period, or of failure to attend without notice, the salon reserves the right to require a deposit of 50 % of the price of the booked service for any subsequent booking.
2.5 The stated scope and duration of the booked service are indicative. The actual time and price may differ depending on the condition of the hair. The client is informed of the final scope during the consultation held before the procedure begins.
3. Arrival and Late Arrival
3.1 We recommend arriving approximately 5 minutes before the agreed appointment.
3.2 If the client is up to 15 minutes late, the salon will attempt to perform the service in full. Depending on how busy the salon is, the scope may be reduced.
3.3 If the client is more than 15 minutes late, the salon is entitled to reduce the scope of the service or to reschedule the appointment so that other booked clients are not affected. The procedures actually performed are charged.
4. Walk-In Service
4.1 Selected services may also be used without a prior booking, on a walk-in basis.
4.2 Clients with a confirmed booking take priority.
4.3 The salon does not guarantee immediate service or the availability of a particular stylist.
4.4 The range of services available without a booking depends on how busy the salon is at the time. The salon staff will provide current information.
5. Consultation Before the Procedure
5.1 A consultation with a stylist takes place before colouring, chemical, and intensive treatment procedures.
5.2 The client is obliged to inform the stylist truthfully and fully, in particular about:
- known allergies and sensitivity to cosmetic products
- any disease, injury, or irritation of the scalp
- pregnancy and breastfeeding
- medication taken and any ongoing treatment
- previous procedures performed on the hair, in particular home colouring, henna, basma, permanent waving, keratin treatment, or lightening
5.3 For colouring and chemical procedures, an allergy test may be carried out, as a rule 48 hours before the procedure. The client has the right to decline the test. In that case, the client undergoes the procedure at their own risk, which they confirm by signature.
5.4 The salon is not liable for complications or for any deviation in the result arising from the concealment or misrepresentation of the information referred to in point 5.2.
5.5 The salon is entitled not to carry out a procedure where the condition of the hair or scalp does not allow it to be performed safely. In such a case, the stylist will propose an alternative approach.
6. Course of the Service and the Result
6.1 Photographs and visual references serve as inspiration during the consultation. They do not constitute a binding promise of a particular result.
6.2 The final result of colouring and lightening depends on the starting colour, structure, porosity, and chemical history of the hair. The desired shade may not be achieved in a single procedure. The stylist will point this out during the consultation and propose an approach.
6.3 The scope of the service may be changed during the procedure by agreement with the client, including the effect on the price and the duration of the procedure.
6.4 After the procedure is completed, the stylist will recommend suitable home care. Following these recommendations affects how long the result lasts.
7. Comments on the Result
7.1 We recommend raising any comments on the result immediately on the spot. Most situations can be resolved right after the procedure.
7.2 If the client identifies a defect later, we recommend raising it without undue delay, preferably within 3 working days. This recommendation is without prejudice to the client’s statutory rights arising from defective performance.
7.3 The procedure for filing a complaint, the applicable time limits, and the ways in which it may be settled are governed by the salon’s Complaints Procedure.
7.4 A change in the result caused by subsequent home care, by the use of unsuitable products, or by the intervention of another person is not considered a defect.
8. Prices and Payment
8.1 Prices for services are governed by the valid price list published on the website and available on the premises.
8.2 The prices in the price list are indicative. The final price depends on the actual scope of the procedure, the length and thickness of the hair, and the amount of material used. The client is informed of the final price before the procedure begins.
8.3 Payment is made after the service has been completed, in cash or by payment card.
8.4 The salon will issue a proof of payment on request.
9. Conduct on the Premises
9.1 We ask clients to behave considerately and politely towards the staff and other clients.
9.2 Smoking, including electronic cigarettes, the consumption of alcohol, and the use of addictive substances are prohibited on the premises.
9.3 When making telephone calls, we ask clients to be considerate towards others.
9.4 Taking photographs or video recordings of other clients or of staff is only possible with their consent.
9.5 The client is responsible for any children accompanying them. The salon is not a children’s environment – chemical products, hot tools, and sharp objects are present on the premises.
9.6 Animals are not permitted on the premises, with the exception of assistance and guide dogs.
10. Clients’ Personal Belongings
10.1 We recommend keeping valuables, documents, and electronic devices with you during the procedure.
10.2 We recommend removing jewellery and watches before the procedure.
10.3 The salon provides protective gowns. Even so, we recommend not wearing clothing that the client would mind being stained. Colouring and chemical products can permanently damage textiles.
10.4 The salon’s liability for items left in the place designated for that purpose is governed by the relevant provisions of the Civil Code.
11. Hygiene Conditions
11.1 The salon complies with the applicable hygiene regulations. Tools and equipment are disinfected, and where applicable sterilised, after each use.
11.2 The salon is entitled to refuse to provide a service where an infectious or parasitic disease of the skin or scalp is identified, in particular head lice, or where there are open wounds in the area to be treated.
11.3 We ask clients with an acute infectious illness to reschedule their appointment.
12. Refusal or Interruption of a Service
The salon is entitled to refuse to provide a service, or to interrupt a service already begun, in the event of:
- aggressive, offensive, or harassing behaviour by the client towards the staff or other clients
- evident intoxication by alcohol or addictive substances
- a condition of the hair or scalp that does not allow the procedure to be performed safely
- refusal to provide the information necessary for the procedure to be performed safely
- identification of the circumstances referred to in point 11.2
Where a service already begun is interrupted, the procedures actually performed are charged.
13. Protection of Personal Data
The processing of clients’ personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy, which is available on the salon’s website.
14. Final Provisions
14.1 These salon rules are binding on all clients and visitors to the premises.
14.2 The salon reserves the right to update these rules. The current version is always available on the premises and on the website.
14.3 Suggestions and comments on the operation of the salon may be submitted in person, by telephone, or by e-mail to office@yaraspace.cz.
These salon rules take effect on: 16 September 2026
